Directions
Shake or mix 1-2 scoops (36-72g) of Mutant Whey with 250-500ml of water or preferably skim milk (250ml milk provides 8g protein). If you want to, adjust the amount of milk used up or down, to achieve a taste you prefer more. Our favourite program is to drink one shake first thing in the morning, a second immediately after training and a third at any other time of the day; or simply enjoy your shakes whenever you want an extra shot of protein.

Got this in chocolate when it was on offer at i think £26/27 for 2.2kg. Tastes really good & mixes ok...the protein content (around 61% i think) but its better than some blends such as BSN Syntha-6....at the end of the day your not gonna notice any 'real world' results from using this as opposed to other proteins, so value for money, taste-wise it fits the bill.

I like this stuff it goes down easy when you chug it BUT seems to have a layer of froth at the top after mixing which kinda lets it down for me.

Got really annoyed at this, had to reply. All whey is NOT the same!
Mutant whey is a standard protein hence the low the protein to calorie ratio, its absorbtion is also inferior to other whey proteins. Hydrolysed whey is the optimum form of protein on the market at the moment. Hydrowhey by ON provides 30 grams of rapid digesting protein to 140 calories than mutant wheys 22grams of standard digesting protein

Ok, look, whey protein is whey protein. 22g of protein is 22g of protein where ever you get it from. It doesnt matter.
However, differences arise in mix, flavour, and additives.
This is the best mixing whey ive ever had, even better than ON's gold standard. Its crazy smooth with no grit.
The flavour is definatly not bad, however i wouldnt be surprised if you can find a few other wheys that are better, although saying that its definatly not disgusting or anything, just has a very SLIGHT after taste.
Ive heard that strawberry is very good though, and i will definatly be ordering another soon.
Another reviewer complained that the serving is for 2 scoops on the back of the bag. This is correct but its still 22g of protein per 1 scoop. So you can have however many scoops you want, wether it be 1, 2 or 3.
You have how ever many you need for your diet.
Overall i found this whey to be a fantastic substitute for more expensive whey (used to be a religious ON fanboy). 30 quid for 2.2kg for a brilliant whey, cant go wrong.
And as ever the Supplement Store is superb with speedy delivery and no fuss ordering.

Massive fan of this whey protein, as well as the mutant mass.
Based on the chocolate flavour i'd have to say that the taste is great (mixed with semi-skimmed milk).
Mixability is great, but above 250ml of milk it tends to be leave bits unmixed.
Effectiveness - I'd say it does the same job as any other whey protein (personally i don't expect miracles from a shake).
Will be buying this again for sure.

Only had it about a week but seems like a good buy, chocolate tastes totally fine and ive realised its the only protein ive ever tried that doesn't leave an unholy smell in the shaker if you forget to wash it for a while, dont know if thats a good or bad sign but certainly unique! Seemingly Great Value!

Firstly, let me say that this is possibly the best mixing protein I've tried, so big ups on that one. Secondly, I find that especially when mixing in water and milk 50-50, the taste is great.
However, I find this product has some major downsides. Firstly, though this may be just me, this might give you a fantastic ability to play the trumpet through your backside. Oh my word the amount of gas. Then, I might note that the "per serving" ratios are kind of untruthfully advertised as I was counting on the number of servings, when a "serving" that they advertise the nutrition values for is TWO scoops, so actually I got half the whey protein I wanted. Thirdly, this really has a lot of extra junk that a protein supplement doesn't need. Definitely not the purest protein available, and though the price was alright and the value for money was not terrible, I definitely wouldn't get it again or recommend it.

Ok it tastes pretty good, very very sweet, overall it is a good whey product (and cheap) but.. it mixes not so well 5 minutes of shaking and its still not mixed well

Vanilla tastes pretty good, not so nice with water but I use milk anyway. Really filling which is good and reasonable price. Sadly loses a star on mixability...shockingly bad! Blender is needed as it's full of lumps with just a shaker.

Been using the Mutant Mass for some time now, decided to give the Mutant Whey a try while I go low carb during the summer. Very good product - good taste, good value. Mixed up fine when I used blender or shaker. Would definitely use it again. Want more flavours other than Choc or Vanilla would be only negative comment.

I've been using this product for about 3 weeks and I have to say this is the first whey protein in 3 years that i've used that I look forward to drinking rather than hold my nose and down as quick as I can.
it makes a nice thick shake and the chocolate version tastes amazing and mixes easily.

Not bad quality but only 64% protein. Taste nice but i think thats down to the amount of suger wouldnt want to use it all the time might get fat not fit.

This protein has an amazing nutritional make up. Great sources of protein and filled with amino acids.
The taste is average. (chocolate)
